need new remote steering arm

for my 9.9 yam 4 stroke. Big end is to an 89 140 vro. Do I need stainless? Anyone have some recommendations of what I should get? Old one keeps disconnecting itself which can be awkward if I have 4 lines in the water.

for clarification; just want to tie my main motor and kicker together. Not looking for a wireless remote

I was going from an evinrude to evinrude but it worked good for me. Take a look, I may be completely misunderstanding you situation

Thanks Coleman kayak1. This is exactly the part I am researching. When I bought my outfit it came with a seized evinrude kicker. I already had a high thrust yama 9.9 (a geat kicker) that was a little heavy for the mount on my mac 25 so I installed on the fishing boat. A review of the part you recommend suggests the 3/8" bar may be light for heavier kickers. Did you experience any concerns in that regard?

I was only running a 6hp kicker but I found the bar to be very sturdy, I think it would work fine personally.
