So today I got deal on a 1994 90hp force. They guy didn’t know much about it. And it didn’t have the ignition switch cause it was broken. I didn’t check compression or anything but he said I could return it if it didn’t work and he signed on it. So I took a chance and brought it home. I want to hot wire it or atleast crank it to check compression or spark before buying a switch . I have experience with Johnson and mercury’s but not force. And it’s my first time not having a plug to connect it with power. Instead each wire connects to a “power bank”. And so I don’t know where to connect the wires. It’s driving me crazy. It has 2 wires which seem to be one positive that goes to battery and one negative. But when I tried it with a meter it should them connected meaning theoretically it’s shorted. I also tried the positive on the starter with a ground on the motor and it was showing me they were connected. I will include some pics tmrw but I need help.
