so somebody put a lake bottom where i was driving, no damage except these scratches. does this need painted asap? will it be ok until i winterize it in a few months?

if paint can i just clean it wth steel brush and paint over it? better to sand it then paint fresh?

if paint is there a preferred paint to use? link?

fresh water only boat.

Mine is totally bare after I broke the bottom off and had to weld a skeg back on. I can't even blame the lake being shallow, I picked the trailer up with a ball on the tractor and didn't realize the drive was mostly down.

In fresh water it won't matter a bit. Take 300 years to build up any corrosion at all. If you want it painted, you will need to use the proper primer for aluminum. I'd sand, primer and finish coat - that is, if I painted at all.
