It's a 5 hp green motor. Where can I get 2? I tried Marine Parts Outlet. Thanks.

TN 26 is a 1950/51 5hp Johnson if that's any help.

BUT any (ignition) condenser you can fit it in will do the job . I think the one in the two stroke engine on my lawn mower (about the same vintage as your outboard!) is actually a part for a Ford car!

The condenser looks like wither a B&S or Kohler. Someone told me that if you don't use the correct one for that model the points will burn out faster.

It is part number 300153 and the capacity is 0.2mfd +/- 10%. It is true that the capacity affects point life to some degree. It also affects spark if way off. Having said that, even a (non-electrlytic) radio capacitor will will work fine if you can find one with correct capacity and a little inginuity to mount it. I get these for about 50 cents and they are plastic so they don't absorb moisture. The capacity is 0.22 mfd, which is within the 10% tolerance.
