I have a Sears Gamefisher 15 hp, 1990. I tried locating a fuel pump dia and a primer buld through Sears with no luck. Am I doing something wrong? I gave the Model number of 255.581503 but comes up they can't find a model number like that. Where else might I get? I know Napa has Force parts, but the model number (Sears) isn't in their book, I looked. Just Force numbers. Is there a way of a crossover or something.

I would start your search by posting in the Other Outboard forum, Bearcamp.

That is where Sears wrenches go to help.

Moving this there.

You got one of the digits wrong, if you look under model @ 225.581503 it should come up as a 15HP Gamefisher outboard. Since that's a 1990 model it was manufactured by Force.

Based on my limited experience the Sears part # for Force-manufactured outboards are either identical to the Force part #, or they add/subtract a character from the front of the Force part # to create their own.

If you don't have your owners manual you can go to http://www3.sears.com and type in that model # then select the appropriate drawing to get the Sears part #. Or, you can go to
http://www.mercruiserparts.com/selectModels2.asp?type_id=FORC and look up the correct 15HP outboard to get the Force part #. My guess is that the Force parts would be somewhat cheaper.
