I am looking for springs for the dogs on the recoil. I'm also having problems finding coils. I haven't been able to get any spark. Is there a way that I can check the coils? I don't lnow for sure the size of the motor or the year that it was built as there are no numbers on the motor, that I can find. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Phil. or email me at pparme @compufort.com

Hi Phil
Look for the model # stamped into the base of the power head. Maybe TN, TD or HD. Let me know what you find. If not provide a DETAILED description of your motor.

Alcan; I looked at the motor again and the only numbers that I could find were on the block just below the crank end F 41 and on the other side there is an S with a circle around it and on the freeze plug is the name Hubbard. That is all I could find.

Alcan I was looking around on the net and found the motor is older than 50's It has a large lowor leg about half way up the shaft. the carb is on the side. It's two cylinders. there is a place on the motor that is raised letter for the modle no. and serial no but it doesn't have anything in it. I took the paint off to the metal and nothing there.
