That sure sounds like the 1.7 hp Neptune circa 48-60 available as the A-1,AA1 and AA1-A, esentially the same motor through end of production circa 1980.WC-1
AA1-A appeared 57-60.I'd bet prop fits from many years. Watch ebay for parts and parts motors.Illustrations appear identical for 55-72 motors in my 67 and 72 after market manuals. These motors allways appeared older than their years.
