Boat came with a blown 120/140 outdrive which has the 1.98:1 ratio. Obviosly this is wrong. It had a 17 pitch prop which made the engine very responsive. I now ordered a proper 1.65:1 drive and now need to find out the correct prop size.

It is the 18' glastron in my sig. I have no working RPM guage as it is an automotive distributor. Roughly what prop would I want to use?

I have avail a 17 pitch 4 blade, a 17 pitch 3 blade, and a 19 pitch 3 blade. Are any of these even close?

If you read the stickies at the top of the page it will help.
You need a starting point.Try the 19 lightly loaded and get us your results.
Remind us the prop size and give us the max rpm and speed results.
Also a description of the overall performance.
