I am attempting to wire my 2004 toyota tacoma to trailer my boat... i have looked up the "t-connector " item all around the net...i see the one i need fits years 1995-2004. I just saw on one site someone is selling one that fits on a 1995-2000...(thats what the box it's in says) for really cheap compared to the one's i have seen on the net. CAN I ASSUME that if my truck takes the t connector wiring harness with 4 flat, from 1995-2004...can i make the assumption that the one i am seeing on the net that covers years 1995-2000 would fit also...? seems to be logical...the price of this one is 1/2 the cost of a "curt" brand or drawtite.
THANKS FOR HELPING

Most likey the person selling it bought it in 2000 to fit a truck they had at that time. I would go for it.

yes you can assume it would and I would bet all my cash against it, the auto manufacturers change wiring harnesses all the time, it would be poor marketing for the manufacturer of the Trailer harness to mislabel the harness if it did work for a 2004 too.

I have no specific information saying it will not work but I have enough experience in aftermarket and automotive wiring to tell you I am 99.9% sure it will not

Sorry
