Re: Need some advice.

Well if I were to do this, I would return to my current job as soon as the roughly 3 months were over. I have met and hung out with all of the people currently on the projects team........they helped us open our store and they come back from time to time to do random things. I also know from expirience that when the day is done everyone goes to the bars then goes to work in the next morning. I know exactly what the job pertains, as I did it for 3 weeks at the store I work at now since I helped open it. Thats what makes this so hard for me......

That all being said, I have thought long and hard about it, and I want to stay where I am at. I talked with my dad quite a bit and basically told me that its something I need to decide for myself............he quit school early and regrets it everyday, but at the same time wouldnt have met my mom unless he had. School is the most important thing in my life right now, and I can always travel later.

Thanks all for the advice. Lots of wisdom here that I would be foolish to not listen to at the least.

Two points:

1 - Stay in school.

2 - A Retail Career is not the best choice. I have worked that angle for a few years and never found anyone who was happy with it.

stay inschool, get the degree, leaves plenty of time to travel afterwards and having that pice of paper can make all the difference in getting the job you really want.

i hate retail, have had too many gf init, always seemed to mess up with the weekends and river time,as well as dinners and parties etc. long hours and not great pay is usually the norm. stay in school, finish it out.
