Need Some Generally Info

Was wondering if anyone on here knows or has heard of the manufacturer UNITED MARINE? And if so .......what happened to them? Is there a new company name etc. ?

I have a boat by them and was wishing to contact them to get the skematics on a 20ft. so I may learn the demensions of the gas tank, which unfortunatly has ruptured.

Any such info would be greatly aprreciated. Thanks

i think you will spend better time opening it up and measure it, these items a especially hard to find if not impossible. or go to portable tanks.

What are the first 3 letters of the hull id ?

RBM
SSB
UMA
UMB
or
UME ?

I doubt you will find the info you want, but at least you will find out who built your boat.

Look for a data plate on the top of the tank. It should indicate the manufacturer, model number and capacity. Mine is located near the sender and fill tube. Most boat manufacturers don't build their own tanks.

If the tank has ruptured - regardless of who made it or how big it is..... it's got to come out. Once it is out most of your questions can be answered.

Sadly, you might have to lift the entire top off the boat to get at it without decstructive surgery. I would be very hesitant to use power tools with gas fumes below the deck..... the removal process could be exsplosively shortened.
