Ok. I'll do my best with stats. But cant give all for reasons stated below.

---------------------------
#1. Yamaha 2 stroke 55hp electric start longshaft.
#2. 10"x12" (wrong prop, told by mechanic who serviced engine)
#3. unknown (brought a rev counter but doesn't work)
#4. GRP Fibre glass. Cathedral hull (tri-hull)
#5. No jackplate Used.
#6. No tabs or foils.
#7. Need mainly for fast as possible getting around. We use the boat for fishing and we just dart from place to place.
-----------------------------

Ok, The boat can be viewed here
http://dvddealsuk.com/boat

It is a wilson flyer, made in the UK. Dont know what year or what not. The engine is a 1984/85 yamaha 55hp with electric start. I haven't had a rev counter but brought one of ebay which has worked once and now just goes off the scale every time. The pole selector is set to 6 pole which was advised by someone. The prop currently on there was a mercury prop and did not push the boat. It used to get to about 1/2 throttle and then the revs just died so we never pushed it any further than 1/2 way.

As you will see on the web page i have brought 3 props off ebay of different sorts to try out but i desperatly need some help getting the right prop.

More info. Usually have 3-5 people on board. 2x 25 ltr tanks. some fishing gear (not much mind) and a few tinnies :)

Any help at all would be a very big help for me and i might start using less fuel !!

Many thank in advance for any advise.

John
