Need some help!

I just bought an 83 Citation Cuddy and the floor and stringers are completely destroyed. I don't know much about the boat, but the engine (Volvo) only has 96 hours on it and the prop looks brand new. It started right up. Now I need to concentrate on redoing the stringers and floor. I don't know anything about fibreglassing, but I am sure that I will learn. I think I know how to draw a pattern to make the stringers, but thats it! Do the stringers sit directly on the hull? I read an article that they do and another article that said there had to be foam under them. Does anyone know where I can get some illistrated and detailed instructions on how to replace the stringers and floor? I also need to know about materials to use. Any help will be appreciated. Thank you!

Well John I think you came to the right place. These guys are experts.
Read this forum, you will find lots of information.
Also use the search function and look for stringer bedding.

well plan on pulling the motor and outdrive. this is common, for that vintage citation. lot of good reading here:
