need some help

This is on a 1985 mec 115 tower of power stator went out(wires were rubbed threw from fly wheel)changed out stator
both switch boxes and rec. still ran with miss did ohm check on stator wires all checked out ok, but the blue wire.
Did a dva check, all wires check out even the blue wire.I'am stumped did I get a bad stator out of the box?

have that trouble shooting on paper and on the computer all parts are CDI.
