I have just moved to Texas and to tell you the truth, I am itchin to do some fishin. But the truth is that I dont really have the boat to do it in. I've got an 18' 1975 Mark Twain with a MerCruiser 165 I/O, deep v hull. Ideally I would like to get a fish and ski boat or just a small fishing boat that can get me around the lake. But the money is not there, actually it is but I have to convince the boss about that point.<br />So I need to make due with what I've got now. I need to mount a trolling motor in the front so that I can hit some of these Spring bass. I've tried putting it on the back but found that to be more agravating than anything else once the wind picks up. Have any of you ever concocted anything that would hold a trolling motor in the front of a ski boat. I may need to cruise around Bass Pro Shops this weekend and see if they have anything there, but I doubt it.<br /><br />Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
