Need some info on pre 1958 Crosby boat

Hello Everyone!!

What I have is a pre 1958 Crosby ? Hydradyne # 3??

This was taken from the plate above the stater key

Model # Hydradyne # 3

Serial # 11-55 328 or 388 (can't tell for sure there is a scratch on the second #).

I do know, that the steering is on the left side, bottom side is fiberglass, topside is wood.

the front seat section is not walkthru..... it is full across.

Rated for a 40 hp motor.

That is all I know about it except it is in very good shape.

Would kinda like to know what year it is for sure, and if anyone has any Idea what price range is on this. (paid 1200.00 for it).

pictures would help. you can up load to a free service like photobucket.com then you choose the pictures you want( clik the little box at the bottom left of the picture) scrool to the bottom of the page, clik generate html, it will take you to the next page, scroll down to thumb nails clik on that and copy, then insert it into your post.

also if you are planing on posting pictures, you can use the Blue post reply or the go advanced, manage attachments, there you can upload , directly from your computer. besure you pictures have been resized to fit the format

Do go over to www.fiberglassics.com and look at their Crosby and Hydrodyne links. You may well own a historic model, since the earliers Hyrdrodyne they list is 1960. The Crosby section goes further back.
