Camlee the guy from gcm called me today, 2 quarts of interlux shipped for 107.58. Not too shabby from all the other places I was looking at. I will let you know when it arrives.

Hey Thrillhouse that sound s like a really good price, what distributor was that from?

Its from here. http://www.gcmdistributor.com/produc...il.php?pid=497

Hes located in Florida. Please everyone let me get my paint first so i can let you know how the company is. Ill guinea pig this one.

Here is how it went.

Put in an online order and chose "credit card"
They emailed me an invoice number then called me the next day with the final price.
Then I gave them my credit card number.
Awaiting my delivery confirmation.....

Here's what I have done to cover my self just in case.
Contacted them by email 2 times and saved the emails.
Let first phone call go to voicemail and saved voicemail that stated final price.
Used credit card just in case I need to dispute any charges.

Its not that I don't trust this guy he seems very nice on the phone. My issue is I don't trust anyone haha.

Re: Need some paint questions answered...please

I used Brightside on my Hard Top. It went on great (roll and tip), covered well, and took about two weeks to fully cure after applying 3 coats. Turns out that the paint set up fast in just a couple of days when in the sun. But when it was in the garage, it took longer. So if possable, put the boat in the sun or maybe even use sunlamps/heat lamps to speed up the cure time.

After its been on for a season, I am very pleased with the results.

perfection is a 2 part paint, its cure time is much less than a one part like brightside. BUT. We will be using a one part on the cap so thanks for the info :)
