I bought a 91' Regal 196 approx a lil over a year ago which i got super cheap and has given me some practice and has also given me a chance to see what kind of boat i really want now. i have been having a hard time looking for a boat i really like. I really really like the simplicity of the boston whaler 170 SS. I basically want a fish and ski type of boat. I like to do a lil saltwater fishing here and there but mostly cruising on the lake down the street from my house. I want to have a fishing boat that also has a little bit of sport look to it. Does anyone know of a boat similar to the whaler im talking about? I def dont want anything with carpet on the bottom since i will be fishing sometimes and I do a lot of tubing. The whaler 170 also holds 7 person and Id like to have atleast 8 person capacity. Any help would be great.
