Hey, I have a searay amberjack 1989. Dual 6-cyl. engs. (4.3's?) and need to drain the fuel tanks. The fuel is bad in there. What equipment do i need and how should I proceed?

If you have the "one" big tank like on our sundancer (but will work for two tanks).
I would make sure the boat is tipped up so there is a low point, remove the fuel sender unit, get a long garden style hose and siphon it out, making sure the end of the hose is at the lowest side/corner of the tank.

should remove 99%

I did this on my inboard tank.
I took the hose from the pickup (outlet) off, used a turkey baster (I keep them in the shop) to get it started and let gravity do the work.

After I got all I could, I attached a small hose on to the turkey baster and sucked out the last drops off the bottom

Make sure you have enough 5 gallon jugs!
I still don't know what to do with all that bad gas.

That superjiggler looks good!

Do it safely!!

yep...

fwiw, on mine, i was lucky and had a straight shot into the low corner of the fuel tank w/o removing the sender. i was able to go right through the fuel fill hose...

i used something very similar to this to start. http://www.amazon.com/RoadPro-RP36667-Multi-Use-Siphon-Pump/dp/B001JT5KN8/ref=pd_sim_auto_4 once fuel was flowing, keeping the drain end lower than the fuel tank and it was a siphon.

just don't use anything that creates sparks. your dealing with fuel and vapors.. boom.
