I am trying to id an Elgin outboard. It is green, two cylinder. The spot on the tank where the model # is supposed to be is gone. I found a # stamped below the carb:621-10342, And also one on the side of the engine:22010. Is there anywhere else I can look for a serial #? There is no tag on the steering handle like I have seen in some pics of these motors. IN taking apart the motor I found more part #'s, I hope some can be cross referenced. Underneath carb bowl:07802, Underside of carb w/bowl off:07965, plate tht carb mounts to:22167, side of carb under Tillotson brand:MD4A, metal shroud around motor(not tank):22038, pulley tht is attached to top of engine tht the pull start engages to:119456, rubber vibration damper under motor above boat clamp:119347.
