Need to identify V 4 frankenmotor. transom plate J35683D

No id own head, can't find Welch plug. mid section show rude blue under white, green lower. manual choke on left on air silencer. cowl is a 115 cowl, but newer.

The engine is 1974 or 1975 Evinrude 135HP. The ignition coils should be black on a 1976 model.

The block should have a identifying welch plug on top of the port bank of cylinders, under the ignition coils.

That is not a "J" in the model number its a 1, or 135683. That's a 1976 135HP Evinrude model number

looks like 135hp johnson in the 1973 to 1975 range

It's not a 73, the choke linkage and stator are different.
