i need help, bought a new engine need to know how to seperate the drive from the back of the engine to replace it with a new engine

looking for an online owners manual can anyone help, plz???

A little more info would help, like what kind of engine, year, size?

Ok, you posted absolutely nothing that would let anyone know what make, let alone what model engine and drive you have.

How far do you think that is gonna get you?

its 1991 bayliner with a mercruiser 3.0 litre, 4 cylinder with an alpha 1 drive

IF it's a Gen II (still not enough infromation)....

Gear shift in FORWARD
Remove 6 nuts that hold drive on.
Remove e clip on trim rams
Pull out pin
Move trim rams out of way
Make sure it's in FORWARD
Pull drive off

For the manuals you really should post engine and drive serial numbers to make sure the correct ones are offered.
