Yup....I need the service manual. I thought I had it, but it's the generic manual, and does not show everything that needs to be removed from the block or manifold to drain all the water.

I've already pulled most of the hoses, and impeller housing (it's getting replaced anyway), and have changed the oil/filter, de-carbon'd the engine with seafoam twice, drained the drive lube, and fogged the engine as well.

Just need to finish getting the drive off (almost done), and ensure there's no water left anywhere....not looking to put antifreeze in there.

Thanks for any help!

Thanks Don. I guess that is the manual I already had. I didn't see the section about winterizing because it says there are only two plugs, (one on the block and one on the manifold), and I can't see the pic's at all.

Any general reference as to where/description of fastener that needs to be removed. I could feel two freeze plugs on the bottom of the manifold, but I'm pretty sure those aren't it.

Thanks Again!

The 3.0 is a simple engine, one block drain, one manifold drain, pull the hose off the circulation pump, pull the hoses off the raw water pump and drain the PS cooler (if it has one). Job done.

The drain plugs are 1/4" pipe plugs or wing nut type plugs, just look for them.

OK from the fuzzy pic' it looks like they're near each other, so I'll look tomorrow in the sunlight. I'm assuming they'd be on the right side (as facing engine or manifold side), and hopefully in a low spot to get rid of the water? The block looks like it sits much lower than the manifold, so that seems a bit strange, but we'll see what I can't find tomorrow.

Thanks Again!

OK got 'em....thanks Don! Didn't know they were towards the back....(for anyone else who may need this in the future, they are on the right side as facing the engine toward the back of the engine, under the exhaust manifold.)
