Need to replace?

Hey all...yesterday taking out I caught the prop at the launch, bent it slightly, managed to straighten it (mostly), but now there's a small chunk--by small I mean triangular, 1/4" on a side at most--out of one of the blades. Will that cause issues other than perfromance? I don't want do any more significant damage, wouldn't break my heart to put a new one on it anyway, but the season's 2/3 over, could I run for the season as is? Thanks!

Sounds minor Ifg your not putting on a lot of hours yopu could use it till the season slows down.Keeping in mind extensive operation with a damaged prop could damage beartings and seals. That said I put 2 or 3 seasons of light use on my modestly damaged 88, 50hp evinrude prop.Apparently no damage or water intrusion to this point.Keep in mind it costs a lot less to repair a prop than a gear case.
