Does anyone know what the maximum horsepower is for a 20.6' bayliner trophy, walkaround cuddy? I need to re-power and not sure where to start.

Thanks!

No rating plate in the boat? I know you are right at the borderline length for needing one - just asking.
Also, what's on there now?

Did a little bit of snooping around - all ( cuddy or open ) were rated at 150 hp. Figure that should push it along really nice. But if you're working on a repower and thinking about a 4 stroke please consider the extra weight. It could be upwards to 100 or so pounds. I know it may not seem like a lot but it could be a 'make it or break it' point.

Currently have a 150 Force. Where would I find the rating plate?
Thanks!

As mentioned a 150 is your rated h.p. As far as your plate is concerned it should be located at or near the driver's position. If you don't have one it was therefore not a requirement ( any vessel over 20 feet ). Buuuuuuuuuutttttttttttt, I've seen some 25 footer's that did have one - go figure !!
p.s. Where abouts on L.I. ????
