need top carb for dt65 suzuki

dt65 serial# 909419. numbers on carb is 94 8 760 71 on throttle plate is 170 30 ventury is 32mm. <br />my outboard mechanic broke off fuel inlet fitting and is non replaceable according to him.<br />this is top carb has single inlet fuel line. the mechanic said a new carb is not avalible.

Is your mechanic an authorized Suzuki dealer? If so have him call a parts coordinator to check on that part #. The part is listed on the EPC/Fiche, but yet it comes up invalid when checking inventory. The carb for a '90 is good #(but currently on b/o). They might be able to tell him if you can use the later carb and when it will be available.

the fuel inlet pipe you mentioned is changeable, i broke mine and if you get a pair of grips on it and ease it around it does come out

I have a spare dt 75, carb may fit. it about a 1986
