Those a cute little motors they appear much older than they are.
They all look pretty much the same right up to the early 80s.If you have a model number I may be able to date it for you.
mainly i need a pic of the wiring for the ignition under the flywheel if anyone can get me one. not sure of the model number since it needs a good cleaning at the moment. it may be older than the actual mighty mite ones.
its a 1938 2hp model number 2a38. appears to be complete except for the exhaust pipe. has good compression. i just derusted the tank last night with works toilet bowl cleaner just make sure you remove aluminum parts if you do it that way.
There aren't that many wires. The coil primary wire goes to the points. The condenser wire goes the same place. You can see them in the picture I posted, but you have to look close.
ive got 2 red wires and a negative coming off my coil as well as the spark plug wire. is there an aftermarket coil and condenser i can use to replace these old parts?
