I just received this kit and it has a plastic T that goes on the intake water hose. I already have a T for the flush hose adapter. Can I just make something that screws into the engine flush hose end?

Go ahead I dare you. It should be fine just check when you turn it on after running the fluid level dropped a little. After about a year my valve at the tank has stopped flowing fluid during flushing, I tried energizing solenoid and back blowing with shop air and still not flowing, since then just muff flushing with salt away. I pull risers off every off season and clean and regasket them and didn't see any difference of using neutra salt for that year vs regular flushing in the past 10 years. I also replace manifolds and risers every 3 years salt only
