neutral safety swtich

I have a Honda BF75A outboard motor. The nuetral safety switch keeps popping off. This causes the motor to not to start until the switch is put back over the button by hand using pliers.

Marina said this is a known problem with the Honda Motor. It is a defect. Is this true?

Is the original part defective and a new one has been manufactured which holds better.
