Helped a stranded boated get his motored started. A 1990 40hp Merc with oil injection. He ended up having water in his gas tank and carbs. While flushing out his fuel system, we found his fuel line from the tank to the motor had an oil/gas/water mix. No oil in his tank. What would cause the motors oil injection to force oil back towards the tank???
