New 150 HP Sea Pro

Purchased a new 150 HP Sea Pro last November, should arrive in June. I'm trying to see if others that already have this motor like/dislike them and why.

Can't find any threads on them, appreciate any input.

OK, so motor is IL4, 3.0L, 4 cycle and 455 pounds. So 2 less cylinders than my 150HP 2.0L 2 cycle V6, and about 100 pounds heavier.

Looks to be Mercury's answer to the real popular Yamaha IL4 150HP outboard. Those seem to be taking over, at least around here.

The marketing is comical. That motor "never breaks a sweat". I have had motors overheat, but never one that broke a sweat. Must be something new.....

appreciate the feedback, the motor will be installed next week. I guess I'll learn more about it when I pick it up.
