Good call on the two cheap gps units. Might be easier to find. I know right now finding a cross over is very hard only found 2 that might work Lowrance iway 600c has pre installed street and marine maps for about 350 and magellan crossover 2500 T no marine maps unit is 350, plus maps another 100...lol

The good thing about having the 2 units is tyhat while we are using one on the boat other family members have the one for the car available. I had the option of a "built in " unit for the car but remember...it is usually around $2,000 for the package and you can not put the thing in any other vehicle !!!
