Regarding getting them repaired, do not underestimate what a good prop shop can do!

Thanks for that PDF! I had already found it from one of your previous posts in a search, but it was exactly what I needed.

Can a prop repair shop really replace missing material? My current outer prop looks like it could be fixed up with some grinding and hammering, but the inner prop has a pretty big chunk missing out of at least one blade. Is it really possible to fabricate a new tip and weld it on to aluminum like that and have it hold?

They can weld on entirely new ears if they need to. It's always worth a shot.
