Nice looking boat. Check here on IBoats or Overtons for a decent bimini that will fit with the tower. Also check the inline fuse for the blower motor... it could be that simple. If not you can get a replacement motor here on IBoats for around $20.

Looks alot like the larson we use in the summer. Who cares if it's a BL, IMO Bayliner has come along way over the years. Enjoy!

Get the bimini...you'll love it. It's a bit of a pain for storage and stuff, but a god send on a hot sunny day. Be sure to get it high enough that you can stand up in the boat comfortably as well....I want a stainless prop too...but with the baby on the way within the next few days..I think my boat budget suddenly got redirected.

Well, got the blower issue sorted today - was just a loose wire disconnected and was able to find it pretty quickly - so that's pretty sweet!

I'll probably get the prop first, then the bimini later in the summer.

Was surprised to see my prop is a 3 blade 23 pitch - that seems like it's set up to go fast top speed instead of pull a skier up fast.

Thinking about a four blade 21 pitch...there's a good prop guy here in Portland that lets you try em out first, so I'll go to him.

It's funny, I've put in more work on this boat in the past two weeks than I did on my 37-year old boat all last year...want this one to be perfect.

Nice Boat, for you Bimini, check with your Tower company, they sometimes make tops that match the tower lines exactly. I know monster does. But it saves you from attaching the top to the boat, it should attach to the tower entirely!

Someone mentioned bimini storage. Does your BL have a bimini storage spot under the swimpad? I am thinking that is pretty customary.

So no support bars coming down into the fiberglass? That would be bitchin!

yep, for an example check MonsterTower web site, they probably wont work with your tower, but you should be able to source a bimini that can tie into your tower instead of your boat, makes it very nice and clean. They even make cargo bimini's, meaning you have the shade and protection of a bimini but you can also tie things on top of the bimini like wake boards, kneeboards, tubes, etc!

Nice looking rig.

With a 4.3 that 185 will rip for sure.

Before we took the plunge on our first boat we borrowed a friends 175 with the 3.0L and for a little boat it went pretty good.

I would get a bimini stat, on a hot day you really can't live without it.

go to prop section, of iboats. They got me set up with the right prop, i have 4 with splines(they all fit my motor). the HWSIII told me to use is the best one, I tried the others, they work just not as good.

WOW.. Noce boat and good price. go for the top now and for the prop, you can have it "tuned" pretty cheap. I think I paid $70 bucks for my SS prop. I think I remember something like $30 bucks. they'll get the dings out and make it like new. Next year buy the other one. Good luck

Yes, I absolutely love that thing! I loved it at first, then I saw that it tilts down so you can get at stuff easily, and that's when I started absolutely loving it! Thanks for the link.

as for the bimini - in PDX, it's not a hugely important - we boat on the river and shade is always pretty near by...but now that I've seen the cargo carrying bimini - I'm starting to think I need that now!
