That may very well be. Typically I've not seen the boat manufacturers making trailers, rather purchasing from the trailer manufacturers. A 6 lug axle is good, but it doesn't tell the OP anything about how much weight it's designed to handle.

To the OP, I looked at your pic....
The size of the trailer looks fine, you just need more drop on your drawbar. I use a 4" drop on my 2007 Grand Cherokee and my single axle (also on 15" tires and 225/75-15 tires) tows level. Yours is too high up front.

Certainly not something you see every day. Installed that could be a pretty expensive option.

Easy to find E rated tires. I actually have them with my 225/15 tires only because my tire guy couldn't locate D rated in the time frame i needed them.
