So you think it's a tin boat? I guess it could be, I just assumed it was aluminum but that could change the way I handle the stripping and painting... hmmm, now you have me wondering and I have a magnet handy... be right back!

Well it doesn't stick to the boat, tin is magnetic right?

Hadn't thought of it like that, just call all smaller metal boats tinnies.

Nice little boat - what are you going to power it with? Just me, but a 1960's merc 39 or merc 60 would look great on it!

Well an interesting development has come up... I have now located a pair of vintage Mercury Rockets, Model KE4 7.5hp outboards. I go get them this Sunday.... for 50 bucks! haha!
