I bought this boat after searching CL for a month. Getting pretty close to end of boating around these parts so I thought this was the time to buy. It is a StarCraft SF-14 lw, '97. The previous owner already did quite a bit of customizing.
The rear bench is removed and a nice custom splash tray is installed along with pedestal seating. The side shelves are made out of aluminum. Overall he did a very nice job. The carpet could use replacing, a bit dirty, maybe a good cleaning would do it. It had like an insanely long trailer tongue, I shortened it by over 2 feet, put new hitch, chains, and winch/strap. Here are some pics.

I paid $2,600 for the boat/motor/trailer. It could use a new prop, and I will be installing a bow mount trolling motor. Other than that it's ready to go! Never bought a boat in the fall before, gonna be a long wait till spring..................

Im still fishing until it freezes lol. I bought 2 boats since memorial day and I'm not giving up yet. Seems like you got a good deal too. Try washing that carpet.

Nice boat. Now you understand why some people say that carpet does not belong in a fishing boat. Best of luck with it.

Possibly the trailer tongue was long so the tow vehicle did not have to get wet....... depends on where the normal launch area was or the guy just bought a trailer that was longer then needed.
