17' - 20' outboard powered, figerglass bow rider. The extra seating is nice and the walkway to the front makes it easier in docking and anchoring. Less maintenance with an outboard. As a first boat I'd recommend to go used and have a mechanic check the engine out.

Ferguson,<br />I have been in your shoes. There is one piece of advice I could offer you. Purchase the most motor you can afford. It is ALWAYS better to have it and not need it, than NEED it and not have it.
