I just wanted to say hi. My wife and I are proud new owners of a 95 Sea Ray 195. I also want to thank the folks to posted is the opinions thread I posted, it gave me some thing to look for and help me point some thing out to the prev. owner, which helped me get a better deal. It needs a little tlc but is in pretty good shape. We got to put it on the water everyday this past weekend and had a blast. We spent most of the time tied up in a cove with friends, so the amount of boaters on the water didn't really affect us. I have a couple of ideas for what upgrades come next, but all of that is a little way down the road. I have been reading a lot of posts on here and have learned some good info. So once again hi and thanks.

Cool beans! Keep us informed about your progress and ask away with all the questions you'll no doubt have.

Nothing like a day on the water.

Break Out Another Thousand, BOAT.

I've seem to notice this. I think we have picked up most of the thing we need for it, safety gear and what not, but I'm sure I'll find stuff I forgot. I did get an inspection from the water police and passed. We do need a top for some shade though and we hope to have it by the end of this year.

Re: new boater

here here....

I have found the good folks of this board, friendly, helpful, and chock full of tips.

So thanks from me too.

Boating is my vehicle to fishing... Is anything more important than that?
