After doing a search on all of the threads for replacement carpeting, I thought I'd post my question here.

I own a 1995 Starcraft Starcaster 1700. The original carpeting is shot. Can anyone suggest where to have it replaced?

Thanks

Yeah, the 'search' function is not what it used to be.....
Are you looking for rug to install yourself or looking for some one to do it for ya?
Usually boats are done on a time & material basis, cuz of hatches, deck fittings etc.....
Is it just the floor you are replacing or the walls as well?.....JK

Really...........I got 50+ pages on carpet.....I wonder if others have that issue too, where the search function just flat out doesnt return a result. The search function used to be a great tool.

harkaway, try posting in the Restoration forum.....there are guys there that know their stuff that don't waste their time in Dockside Chat.

Re: New Carpeting

I wouldn't have carpet in my boat. I just tore out all the carpet in my new beachcraft. The mess that had sifted underneath as well as the amount of crud stuck in the carpet just reinforced what I already knew.

The floor was damp and I actually had to use a plastic dustpan to scrape the fine sand off of the fiberglass deck cover.
