2001 custom catamaran. designed for twin 60 4 strokes has a coastguard rating to 150 h.p. My plans are to use it inshore & offshore. Ill be using a 140 Suzuki or a 115 to 150 4 stroke from another manufacturer. Motor will be mounted on a outboard bracket & jack plate so I can get in & out at low tide. opinions?

Ill be mounting a small center console similar to the one in the last photo with a single drivers seat, or a wider console with a flip seat cooler? I'm leaning to wards the flip seat for fishing.
opinions or have any items?

t-top, lenco trolling tabs or front mount remote control W regular trim tabs? opinions?

2@ 20 gallon fuel tanks, 3 batteries (just picked up the pro charger yesterday), a set of cannon magnum down riggers( I have them), 30 gallon live well (have it)

I have a Lowrance lcx-16 ci but its never worked right I got about a half a dozen trips out of the second unit they sent me I even talked a buddy into buying one & he has the same problems so I'm thinking there Mexican made stuff is an inferior product. I'm thinking about going with interphase twin scan or i-scan.
opinions?
well thats it for now ill be picking her up tomorrow.

Nice boat.
I can't tell from the photos, maybe a cathedral hull, definately NOT a catamaran.

USCG plate gives max hp rating, less than that is more than adequate.
Motor with tilt/trim will eliminate need for a jack plate.
Looks like a small amount of freeboard for offshore trips.

IMO

agreed with all of the above......and that does look like a tri hull.

im worried about pic 2.....man.....the deck on that boat is waaaay up....allmost to the back of the splash well.....that cant be stock

with the c/g that high its gonna be tippy...even for a tri....and the gunwhales are below the knee by the ankles almost.....really easy to fall over board....i would really consider major surgury before i took it off shore....looks like a dangerous boat to me. if you added some railings around her....that would help. but i think the deck needs to come down.

imho

by the way....the i boats raft up is in jaxonville soon....read the sticky at the top of the general section....and there is a link to the destination section with detailed in structions......looks like fun....as close as you can get to the no fly zone at the air show and right at the start of where the pilots do the fly bys.

well after some work & a trip to see tashasdaddy for some motor help ( if you need help with johnson evenrude he's the man very knowledgeable & affordable) :) . heres the pics ive been test running the boat will be switching the trailer out this week for a tandam axle trailer.

added autotether to the helm incase I eject myself from the boat. great product you were the transmitter in the event you fall off it triggers the kill switch. also coastal night lights hull lights.
