heres the deal, IF I swap out the #3 to the #2 I get spark from # 3 when I put #2 on the #3 cd unit I get spark on all 3 cylinders when I switch it back to normal I get the same spark on the top 2 cylinders from the Cd unit running the top 2 cylinders and no spark on # 3 from the other cd unit that is suppose to run that cylinder make sense? If I change #2 coil and hook it up to the # 3 cd unit I get spark from that cd unit and if I hook up #3 coild to the #2 cd unit I get spark as well so all 3 spark when I put them back to normal hook up it goes back to the same old only spark at top 2 running off the cd unit thats tied together whats the deal? checked all grounds is it in my ignition switch maybe? sorry this has got to be a simple fix and I don't see it. can I swap the trigger and stator wiring to run it this way?

more weird stuff. If I ground # 3 to the block I get no spark but I have spark to the #1 & #2 if I tie the #3 into #2 ground on the housing were the coils bolt to I loose spark in #2 and gain it in #3 so #1 cylinder will spark and #3
W.T . HECK man I dont want to just start buying expensive electrical parts Im ready to walk away again Im wondering if this is in my ignition switch? how do you check the kill wires? and all grounds should read 0 with key on?

Have you checked your terminal board wire by wire to determine that they go where the book says they should? I suggest that you start from the bottom and go wire by wire as someone may have miss wired it before.

is this a new motor to you or did it run good and then quit and now you are investigating?
