Finally have my new drives on the Elegante.
It is now like the boat I test drove 5 years ago when it still had the shipping plastic all over it
No more constant corrections of the steering, no more trim tab adjustments...
The exhaust sounds better too! It does have a lot more noise from the drives though! sounds like a turbine. The composites did have one good feature... They were quiet... for months, then a big bang and silence :facepalm:
It is a little faster at idle than the old drives? The revs seem to be the same but I found myself knocking into neutral between the arms in the marina as I was moving a lot faster than expected.
