I'm needing a new floor, but first want to address the leaks. Thinking of floating it to see the leaks while the floor is out. Don't want to buck every last rivet. Any thoughts?

Your IMG link was messed up. I fixed it.

Do your leak test and mark any leaking revits. Rebuck those. Then coat the rest from the inside with Gluvit.

Ayuh,.... Sounds like a Plan..
Like ezmobee, a slatherin' of gluvit before ya put the Deck down is good insurance...

Btw,... it's a Deck,... No floors in boats....;)

I would buck the ones that you can visually see that have failed before you do your test..

Actually there are Decks and Soles .. I dont see a deck on this. I think his use of "Floor" is more accurate then "Deck" for his Sole ;) .

YD.

Ayuh,... Just carryin' on JB's tradition,...

Though I agree, sole is probably more accurate than deck...

Sole and deck are both correct, respectively....but I think as long as everyone knows what part of the craft we're talking about it really doesn't matter much. Port Starboard, Right Left, Front Back, Bow Stern, Cross braces, bulkheads.....you know?

Now don't take this the wrong way...okay. Just a point of view to those unaware of watercraft terminology...

Here's a good link for those who would like to know the terms....
