Also, setting the temp slightly higher can make a huge change in the energy use when you have thos etimes when you need to be on the battery a little longer than normal.

I left the temp setting the same and did a test the other day......at the dock. Temps were in the high 70's and low 80's. I shut down my charger and went on my business, let the fridge run. 11 hours later I returned to the boat for a ride. Turned on the blower for several minutes, secured a few items.....she fired right up.

I will try this test again when the temps reach the 90's. At this time, I plan on using her for 11 hours or less. Also add some ice packs in hopes to keep the battery drain down. I don't want to abuse one of my major systems.
