I have acquired a 1971 Glastron V164. It has a Volvo penta 130 I/O. It needs interior work but the outside looks good.

Welcome to iboats.

Looks like a nice project. Based on the year it was made ....now is a great time to check under the deck (stringer's and flotation).

How does it run?

Welcome to the resin/fiberglass shop. The outside of my Sea Ray looked good when I got it also. Take a look at the thread in my sig to see where I am now. If it resembled wood, it was rotton. I agree, now would be a good time to take a look under the floor. Thanks, Steven

Sweet ride!!!!

I'll give a third on pulling up that floor.

The PO of my boat put 3/4 ply right on top of the rotten old floor. The rotten wood and soaked foam must have weighed 500 lbs.
