So we have a new guy at work from a temp agency. I've been charged with showing him how things work so he spends the better part of the day behind my desk with me.
Yesterday, I hear this faint sound. I could have sworn he just passed gas sitting right next to me in my personal space. Nah, couldn't have. I let it slide.
Then a little while later, we had to walk down the hall to another department to check on something. On the way back he really lets one rip walking down the hall. There was no mistaking what it was, but I didn't say anything. This guy is a good 15 or 20 years older than me, and a veteran. Maybe he has some sort of condition.
Today, he does it again around 9:00 this morning. Then around 10:00, it happens again. This time it's followed by a "whew". A few seconds later I understand what the "whew" was all about. I just about gagged.
Now I am a guy, and I can appreciate the occasional ripping one around your buddies. But I don't know this guy, and I feel a bit uncomfortable saying anything.
I guess I need to assess where my priorities are.
