Well, I figured I'd post since I'm sure I'll be posting more this winter as I start my new project. Just over a month ago I traded one of my former project cars (I'm a Saab fanatic) a 1995 Saab 900 Turbo convertible for this 1991 Conquest 1650 I/O with a 3.0L OMC Cobra. I'd been looking for a smaller open bow speed boat for some time, and finding someone that wanted to trade for a convertible going into a WI winter was... difficult?
Anyways on with some pictures.
The car I traded
My car hooked up to the new boat before leaving with it (yes, I'm planning on towing it with that)
The boat! (after some fun on the lake)
Plans for the boat.
1. Fix the soft spot in the floor
2. Work on the interior - it needs some work, not a ton but some.
3. Do some work on the out drive - more preventative maintenance since it engages smoothly and doesn't have any issues (that I know of)
4. Fix the gauges
5. Buff the exterior.
I'm sure there's more I'm forgetting.
Oh and how do I setup my signature... I can't figure it out for the life of me
Thanks,
Joe Reichard
