Well didn't make too much more progress...but my back is sore from cutting all the boards and screwing them down. 1/2 of the deck is done...2 more days and it will all be done (decking).

Well the decking is done...should start on Bulkhead this weekend so I can run my electrical/water and then start working on the roof!

well not only am i jealous of the boat house and river but the fact that you can be outside and not being bundled up for a blizzard. man to be in Texas. it is a warm 35 today.

Well it's coming along. Had a bunch of friends come up. Fished some Friday and started putting the trusses up Saturday.

Measuring from corner to corner to make sure the building was square to put the trusses

lifting the trusses to the roof....4-5 guys on bottom pushing up, me (in center - white shirt), my brother and his friend on the outside up on the top laying them flat and scooting across top

Starting to stand up and nail/brace the trusses

Trusses up and only 2 rows of the purlins installed...need to install the other 8 rows and put on the facia boards (this coming weekend)

Bulkhead project almost complete. All deadmen put in. still need to put the top cap on, dredge out in front of it and finish grading once dirt is settled. I'm using my top cap boards now for scaffolding!

1 25' tape measure, 1 drill bit, 2 bolts. Had 1 step ladder go in but was able to fish it out!

Well it's getting closer. Got all the hardi siding and trim up. still need to caulk, paint, put metal roof on and install the lifts.


Last pic is of what we've been working in...had a lot of rain the last 2 weeks so we've been slopping around in mud!
