WOW, KK, when you build a home for your toys, you build a HOME! Looking GREAT! So when is the dedication party?!?!

hopefully end of March should be complete. Will be throwing a big crawfish boil/beer bash for all that have helped me....

Ice?....well any good TEXAS boy knows that the ice is in the cooler keeping the adult beverages chilled!

Awesome! I've been avoiding this thread because we don't get to have stuff like that where I boat. Most of it is within National Recreation Area and we can't build nuttin'. I guess I'll just have to mosey up there from Houston and help with the beverages so I can get on the invite list . . . didn't say what we had to help you with, right?

well I didn't do much this weekend but the painters came out Saturday/Sunday to paint. Gave me a price for labor only I couldn't refuse.

Well it's been a while since I posted. Had a setback 3 weeks ago putting on the roof. Had an accident and cut both tendons and the nerves on my right hand index finger. So work has been progressing slowly relying on help, but it's getting closer. Will be in my cast and therapy for another couple of months!!

almost done - even 1 handed

Wow that looks great. I think that I would be inclined to take some metal window type screen and staple it to the rafters to eliminate birds places to perch and poop over the boats. Other than that I hope that one day I can have property to put a boat house like that on. Very nice!!!

this retired general contractor has to say Great Job, i understand one handed ness, tore my right rotator cuff, 2 years ago, therapy is not working. i have to depend on assistance, with over tightened bolts, etc. i've learned to pour the milk on cereal left handed.

Looks great - especially for a one handed man! Congrats. Gotta agree with JMR about something to keep the birds from perching above your boats ... don't want the buzzards to come and roost there!
